Berrys Announces Two Key Appointments to Senior Leadership Team
Berrys is pleased to announce two significant appointments to the Senior Leadership Team, strengthening the leadership structure and ensuring full representation of all internal support functions across the business.
Lisa Meadows has been promoted to the role of HR Manager, a well‑deserved recognition of the outstanding contribution she has made over the past two years. During this time, Lisa has led the HR function with professionalism, dedication and a clear commitment to supporting both people and organisational development. Her promotion reflects the confidence in her leadership and the continued growth of the HR function under her guidance.
In addition, Nuria Smith has been appointed to the newly created role of Head of Business Support, within the Senior Leadership Team. This strategic role will provide leadership and operational oversight for Berrys’ Business Support administrative function, ensuring the delivery of high‑quality support services across the organisation.
Nuria joined Berrys in 2022 and prior to her promotion served as Executive Business Support Manager, before this she had 27 years of experience across a wide range of services, including housing, licensing, contract monitoring, estates, HR, economic growth, culture, leisure and infrastructure. Her expertise spans project support, system improvement, customer service, administration and office management skills that will be invaluable as she steps into this expanded leadership role.
Stuart Thomas, Chief Executive Officer at Berrys, commented:
“I am delighted to welcome both Lisa and Nuria into their new leadership roles. Their professionalism, commitment and deep understanding of our business make them invaluable additions to the Senior Leadership Team. These appointments strengthen our internal support functions and our ambition to continually improve our delivery of work. I look forward to seeing the positive impact they will continue to make across the organisation.”
