Our long-distance client first approached us in 2015 and after meeting several times, had full confidence in us to instruct us in to manage and maintain the commercial aspects and two flats of their three-storey building in Kettering.


How We Approached The Project

We initially conducted a valuation of the building with two commercial businesses taking over the bottom and middle floors. When the middle floor became vacant it was converted into 3 separate flats using the client’s own team of professionals who were not local to the property. This resulted in the project taking in excess of 18 months to complete after a lengthy planning process and building works.


How We Achieved The Project

When the ground floor tenant vacated, we met with the client and were instructed to undertake all planning, architecture and project management work to convert that floor into three flats. Our teams will start work shortly, working closely with the client managing timeframes and expectations, securing agreements and overseeing progress throughout the design and construction phases of the project.

Once the project is complete, we will market, let and fully manage the eight flats in the building with the client having full confidence in our multi-disciplinary team based across the road from the property.
