Project Overview

Based in Shrewsbury, Montford Properties are a local housing developer with a reputation for building high-quality sustainable housing.

Montford Properties were aiming for a high return on investment on their next project. They identified an opportunity to develop a parcel of land situated in Bowbrook, Shrewsbury.

The site is situated in a residential area, approximately 3 miles away from Shrewsbury town centre. Originally used as a paddock, Montford Properties recognised that the lush surroundings, boasting a variety of native flora and even a small watercourse, could potentially be transformed into an enchanting backdrop for a small number of bespoke family homes.

Throughout the concept design stage of the project we undertook a detailed analysis and history of the site, giving our team the necessary tools to completely optimise both the aesthetic and functional attributes of the site.

It was crucial that the houses appeared as though they belonged together, however they needed to also retain their own individual identity.
