Westley Meadows Caravan Park in Minsterley, Shropshire, were ready to grow their business even further. Along with a manager’s lodge, they were looking to add another 17 touring caravans, giving them 42 in total.
We had gained them planning permission before, so we already knew the site and their requirements quite well. Just as we did the last time, we worked alongside both in-house and external consultants to make sure we found the most effective solutions.
We considered every possible angle to make sure we won planning permission. We assessed the impact that the extra traffic would have, working with architectural, highway and drainage services. As for the layout, we made sure the visual impact was kept to a minimum.
We negotiated planning permission with the officer, securing approval under delegated powers. The use of our in-house consultants also made sure the application fulfilled all the requirements of the planning process, and helped us get our client where they wanted to be.
