The Kingsland part of Shrewsbury sits just over the river from the town centre, and lies within a conservation area. Our client had got hold of some land within the area, and came to us for help with creating two new homes. We were excited by their ambitions, and knew the land and its location offered the potential to create something remarkable.
Working closely with the developer, the plans we came up with were guided by their vision. We also made sure that every corner of the plot was designed to the highest quality, creating a solid proposal for a planning application. Every element was carefully planned, making the most of all the potential the land had to offer.
Sitting in a conservation area, the designs had certain limitations. Because of this, we called in the architectural team to help make sure we created a proposal suitable for the location. We also provided a supporting statement along with an assessment of the policies in place, and when everything came together, we were able to secure our client the go-ahead.
