Project Overview

We are happy to have had the pleasure of contributing our design ideas into a new open market dwelling that sits pleasantly within its surroundings on the outskirts of Shrewsbury.

Having originally secured outline permission for a dwelling, the design team were approached to fulfil the wishes of our client by providing a large dwelling; satisfying the requirements of making the most of the surrounding views and providing a functional living environment.

In order to realise the brief, the ground floor has been proportioned into a large open plan living and dining area with linked kitchen through a floor to ceiling opening as to enhance the illusion of connection between the two separate spaces. Further to this, an internal linking corridor through to the double garage includes a modest utility and WC.

The first floor is arranged so that the master bedroom, with included en-suite and walk in wardrobe, is allowed to maximise the views and setting sunlight through a large full height glazed curtain wall. Further accommodation and bathrooms are realized above the kitchen and utility spaces.
