6 Ebenezer Place is a 0.12ha town centre site located within Kettering Northamptonshire. The site comprised a number of existing buildings which were lastly used as a car dealership and MOT garage. The site was partially located within a Conservation Area.
Berrys initially provided the landowners with a valuation report and detailed planning appraisal, ahead of submitting a pre-application advice request to the LPA. The pre-application response was overall supportive of the redevelopment.
Berrys provided professional planning, architectural, heritage and civil engineering services to develop a scheme to demolish the existing buildings and construct a three storey 12 apartment building which was submitted to the Local Planning Authority.
Throughout the consultation process Berrys reviewed and responded to any statutory consultees who had queries about the proposed development. Berrys assisted with the S.106 negotiations advising the client regarding affordable housing commuted sum.
Berrys were successful in assisting the client to obtain full planning approval for the development (NK/2022/0525).
The site is currently in the process of being sold to a developer who will build out the approved scheme.
