Second Agricultural Workers Dwelling Approved On Farm In Rural Leicestershire.

Berrys recently secured planning permission for the erection of a second agricultural workers dwelling to support an ongoing agricultural enterprise in rural Leicestershire. The second workers dwelling was required to enable a multi-generational farming family to live on the farm securing the future of the agricultural business.

The modern farmhouse was thoughtfully designed to meet the functional needs of agricultural workers accommodation including a secondary ‘messy’ entrance with wet room and changing area as well as a first floor farm office with panoramic views of the agricultural holding enabling the monitoring of farm animals imperative for animal husbandry purposes. The approved development also provides an attractively design modern home which sympathetically bends into the surrounding landscape.

Berrys were able to provide the full range of services required to gain planning consent which included an agricultural justification prepared by Guy Banham, full package of drawings including elevations, floorplans, layout plan and 3D images provided by Richard Cole and Lauren May handled the planning application.
