Berrys Announces Appointment of New Equity Partner
Berrys is pleased to announce the appointment of Dan Hawkes as an Equity Partner, marking a significant strengthening of the firm’s leadership team and reaffirming its commitment to recognising and investing in exceptional talent.
Dan is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists (FCIAT) and currently serves as Head of Development Management at Berrys. His career began at a national firm of Chartered Surveyors where, at just 22, he became the youngest Chartered Architectural Technologist in the country. As an Associate Director, he went on to lead the award‑winning rural architectural team for the Midlands region, delivering a diverse portfolio of residential refurbishment, conversion and new‑build schemes for both private and national clients.
Dan later joined the Duchy of Lancaster, overseeing project management across the Sovereign’s private rural and historic estates in the Midlands and Cheshire. Since joining Berrys as a Partner, he has taken responsibility for a multidisciplinary team of built environment professionals — including Architects, Planning Consultants and Building Surveyors — across the Kettering and Towcester offices. He oversees the firm’s Development Management service, with a particular focus on project procurement, management and contract administration.
In addition to his technical and managerial responsibilities, Dan sits on both the Executive and Operational Boards, contributing to the strategic and day‑to‑day direction of the business. His leadership, professionalism and deep industry expertise will be invaluable as Berrys continues to grow and deliver its ambitious business plan in the years ahead.
Stuart Thomas, Chief Executive Officer, commented:
“Dan’s appointment as Equity Partner reflects not only his exceptional technical expertise but also the impact he has made on our business. His strategic insight and leadership will play a vital role as we continue to strengthen and expand our Development Services offering.”
