Valley Bridge Refurbishment Project.

Spaghetti Bridge is a specialist educational provider for children with social, emotional and wellbeing needs. They identified a site in Gloucester with potential to be the 9th in their portfolio. Wynstones was a former Steiner Waldorf school with 10 acres of land. The site included 9 buildings of varying ages and condition with the main house dating back to 1800’s.

How We Approached The Project

In April 2023 Berrys was instructed by the client to manage the intensive pre-acquisition stage which was crucial to securing the investment for their ambitious refurbishment project. Following the successful acquisition, Berrys was appointed to deliver the project through to completion.

The work was split into two phases with similar scope which included the extensive refurbishment of the external envelope, site wide services replacement and landscaping.

Seen as their highest risk project to date, Berrys has guided the client by drawing on their multi-disciplinary team expertise throughout the decision-making process to eliminate or mitigate risk and uncertainty.

How We Achieved The Project

Our client centric approach has been pivotal to gaining trust and delivering the brief which has led to our involvement across two more sites. Berrys is extremely proud to be working with and delivering for an amazing client who provide a much-needed service to those who have struggled in traditional educational settings.
